Answers to the Questions Homeowners Ask Most

Is my home suitable for solar panels?

Most homes are suitable for solar, but a few key factors help determine whether you’ll see real savings. Typically, if your electricity bills are over $200 per quarter, solar is more likely to save you money from day one. Roof orientation also matters  north-facing is ideal, but east and west can still work well with the right system design. We also look at the condition and stability of your roof, whether there’s sufficient space for panels, and how much shading is present from trees or nearby structures. If you’re unsure whether your home is suitable, we’re happy to assess it for you and give honest, tailored advice.

Your savings will depend on the size of the system we design and how well it matches your household’s daily energy usage. On average, our customers see a reduction of 50–80% on their electricity bills. We work hard to ensure your solar repayments are equal to or less than what you’re already spending so you can save from day one. Maximising your return on investment is a top priority, and every system we design is tailored to help you get the most out of your solar.

The Australian Government’s Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (SRES) offers Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs), which help reduce the upfront cost of going solar. The value of your rebate depends on the size of the system tailored to your home with rebates currently reaching up to $7,000. This amount is deducted from the total cost, and the remaining balance can be financed using one of our flexible solar finance options. Keep in mind, the STC rebate reduces each year, so it’s worth taking advantage while the current savings are still available.

The installation process is designed to be as smooth and stress-free as possible. We take care of everything from submitting your grid connection application to organising the required approvals and scheduling your install. Most installations are completed in just one day. Afterward, we handle the metering changeover by submitting all necessary paperwork on your behalf. There’s no disruption to your daily life

Solar panels are low-maintenance. Occasional cleaning to remove dust or debris helps maintain peak performance, and it’s recommended to have a professional inspection every few years to ensure all components are operating efficiently. If you’d prefer not to worry about it, we can arrange professional cleaning and maintenance for you, just ask.
